Infrared Space Heater
If you are after a cost efficient, effective, and portable heating device then you should consider investing in an infrared space heater. These will heat the entire space of the room that they are placed in as opposed to a regular unit which only warms up the air directly in front of it.

Also, nobody is going to get burnt by touching the unit, your children and pets can play safely around without any worry.
The length of time it takes an infrared heater to warm up a room will depend upon the area. In an average size room you will notice a real difference in only ten or fifteen minutes. The maximum area most models can heat would be around one thousand square foot.
Obviously they require an electrical power source so that they can function. They come fitted with an ordinary household plug, no expensive adapter is required.
They will be able to give you some financial savings in just a short time. You will be able to reduce the level at which your thermostat is set by five degrees or even more bringing almost immediate reduction in your energy costs.
